FWIW:
* this version of -06 has been committed to YETUS-83. (the one marked as -06
and a quick fix)
* unless someone really complains loudly, I'd prefer not to fix that last
shellcheck warning. it's a false positive inside the redirection of while
loop. :(
* I found a bug in the vote table that's been there for a very long time.
Basically the vote table that says "docker + precommit" message will always say
that if docker is invoked. It dates back to a time when docker and re-exec
were separate. Now we need to break it apart. I'll make that a different JIRA
since at least I know I want some time to think about it and I'd rather get
this big patch in sooner rather than later.
