* for plugins that provide numbers, status is now an equation. e.g.:
hadoop-tools/hadoop-azure: patch generated 2 new + 57 unchanged - 9 fixed = 59
total (was 0)
* if a patch fixes issues, still report the equation. previously test-patch
would only report on new problems. if the status is unchanged, the "passed"
message is retained.
