The whitespace plugin check for end-of-line is flagging build files (has maven
as a build system, the files are in target/, and the build directory has not
been customized in the pom).
The files in this specific instance are generated javadocs. The source files
are not modified in the patch and AFAICT they don't contain trailing whitespace.
