* remove the big find

In hindsight, now that we should be able to reliably determine which files are 
changed, there isn't much of a reason to go through the directory structure.  
Checking because of sourced files is effectively the same thing as a full 
compile.  That's the job of qbt so why would we do it in patch mode?  As a 
result, this should greatly speed up shellcheck
