Allen Wittenauer commented on YETUS-633:
----------------------------------------
I did some research into this today.
Basically, github checks is a way for github to wrap the status of a github app
with their visuals. It is only available to Github Apps and can only be used
via a callback. That means that the only place where checks might work that is
on (AFAIK) anyone's roadmap would be as part of YETUS-578. Using a Jenkins
plugin to provide a webhook that Github could use to call back into Yetus to
display (whatever).
That said, we might want to integrate into the Github Status API.
