Kernel logs usually have more information.
Check in /var/log/ something like kern.log or kernel.log (distrib
specific), and see if anything got logged during resume or not.
Even if nothing got logged on resume, a full kernel log from boot to
suspend/resume could still be useful.

I'm attaching kernel.log:
May 11 21:32:24: PC starting up from shutdown state
May 11 21:52:51: PC goin' to standby correctly
May 12 01:56:09: Reset button pressed after failed resume (white screen with colored dots)
May 12 02:21:59: PC shutting down correctly
