I enabled the DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION and 3D is working for 4.4.0. I only tried with gears from xscreensaver. I'm going to try with something else as well. As a curiosity, why was DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION added in 4.3? -- Microsoft has beaten Volkswagen's world record.
