I have a video card with 2 outputs.
I don't usually have a monitor on the second output (HDMI).
I have to reboot if want to use a second monitor.
Is there a way to force lubuntu to rescan for the second monitor.

Apparently the nvidia driver allows a second monitor to be plugged in (I
don't know how to install those drivers in lubuntu).
