I was not able to get the symbols for the kernel that null derefed, but I
compiled the module against a newer kernel version and it worked well,
notwithstanding errors in the kernel log. I even got an X session to work with
exa acceleration on the nouveau DDX driver. I will attached a dmesg of the
newer kernel, which does not show a null deref.
Thank you for your help, and I hope I have provided sufficient information to
investigate further.
