yes, this is a point for my todo list ... i have no idea, how to
implement it at the moment, though ... maybe there could be observer
objects, that act like gui clients (the infrastructure for gui clients
is already there :)

in pd, messages to canvases are designed for loading pd files. imo, they
are not really designed for dynamic patching, but can be abused ...
