should compile via ports/fink on OSX (it did on NetBSD). compiles in minGW on 
windows.. or cygwin..

it hates me. disconnected during a checkout? - impossible to find the right 
combination of 'svn unlock' and rm -rf'ing '.svn' dirs.. 
moved or renamed a file without telling svn first? good luck fixing the ! and ~ 
and other crap in 'svn status'..
using it for commits in low/no bandwidth/connectivity situations? no local repo 
to work with..
using it for branches? aha, you're supposed to cp -av...
security is confusing and hard to set up. with git, it obeys system 
permissions..
