the current limitations are:
- no non-rt synthesis (i am planning to add it, but haven't found the time, 
yet)
- no plugin commands or unit commands (not sure if anyone actually uses 
them)
- at the moment, jack is the only supported audio backend. i am not sure, 
how well this will work on osx.

beside this, supernova should do everything, that scsynth is able to do. 
buses can be accessed by parallel synths, since they are guarded by reader-
writer spin-locks. you shouldn't use ReplaceOut.ar from parallel synths, 
though, but i guess that is obvious ...
