Hi Scott, We take "problems" such as these to a weekly meeting with two heads of school. It is here we make our suggestions by outlining possible solutions, and we then advise them on what the possibilities are. Once they are informed they tell me which way they want to go. Then I apply the policy. This way, if someone ever asks why, I explain the reasons behind it, and if necessary, point them to the decision makers. I have not yet had a problem following this premise.
