Found my workaround: I had just configured GroupWise Messenger this morning, and as part of the install, i had to give the GroupWise Messenger user write access to all user attributes. So i was able to login as the gwmsg user and change admin's password! That was a close call! (Paul offers a quick prayer of thanks and trots off to make sure his "security equal to me" is set up right on his admin user.)
