The problem is that under some conditions (such as broadcast), routing floods the packet which doesn't handle loops correctly. Glen (Gibb) wrote a spanning tree app for NOX which they use in the mobility demo. You might want to follow up with him about that.

Hi,

I created a simple topology and tried to use the provided routing over it. It works ok at first, but when I introduce loops in the network the behavior is not so clear.

Do I have to implement any sort of spanning tree on top of it, or it should route normally even with loops..?

Thanks,
Yiannis
