Thanks kk yap. I will do that. But when I used existing hda.dsk with my new compiled kernel.bin, it is giving kernel panic. Does both hda.dsk and kernel.bin are related to each other ( i.e., works only on debain based machines), otherwise, can I use existing hda.dsk with any new complied kernel on any flavour of linux (ubuntu).
