Steps to reproduce:
* create a settings.xml file that is valid, but doesn't contain activeProfiles
* Add a dependency that is not yet downloaded (the easiest way is to add a
system path reference)
* Generate POM from visual studio
* An exception dialog about Value being null will be presented
