NPanday installer msi does not properly install

My company has my home directory on a network share. When I install NPanday
1.4-incubating from the msi, I get the following:
Failed to open XML file \\[network_share_name]\Home$\[username]\Visual Studio
2010\Addins\NPanday.VisualStudio.Addin, system error: -2147024891
It seems to be a permissions issue on the network share. When I run the
installer under an account that has a local HD home folder, it works fine.
