I don't think this is necessary... the key is that we know that we have listed 
the license text and folks know they are the terms they have to abide by using 
it.

I wonder, since we're revisiting the release, if we should really just revisit 
the whole repository bundle. Do we still need to distribute all this, or should 
we allow users to grab it from central?

This would definitely simplify the rest of the license text.
