Hi Lars, thanks for the prompt response. Having a release depend on a snapshot is too much risk. I switched my project to use exec-maven-plugin for calling candle.exe and light.exe temporarily.
Maybe there is something I can do to help speed up the release? Maybe there could be a 1.4.1 release with some easy-to-merge changes from 1.5/trunk?
