The 1992 Prince home video "Diamonds and Pearls" will be released on DVD for
the first time Aug. 22 via Rhino. The bulk of the film features music videos
from that album, including the title track, "Gett Off," "Cream," "Call the
Law" and "Insatiable." There are also live versions of "Thunder," "Live 4
Love," "Jughead" and "Dr. Feelgood," as performed with the New Power
Generation.
As reported yesterday, Prince is shutting down his five-year-old NPG Music
Club, which has maximized its potential, according to a statement released
to its members.
