I remember back in the late 80's Eddy Murphy told this story. It wasn't as funny as the way Charlie told it. Especially since Charlie's version was visual. I didn't believe Eddy until I saw the picture of Prince with his High School Basketball team. Eddy said something like if he had put money down on the game he would still owe Prince 2day. Someone else talked about Prince always playing basketball with his friends and band members and there was a photo of a pair of sneakers he used 2 play in. They were going up 4 some charity auction.
