Sup all,
I was having my regular weekly Purple Thursday where I only play Prince
music while at work and a concert version of "Shh!" popped on while I was
chatting with a loved one. The song is so electric and sexy and I couldn't
help but think back to when I heard Prince play it live at Madison Square
Garden during the Musicology Tour a while back. It was the first time I had
EVER been to a Prince concert and the performance was quite memorable for
me. My only regret was that I did not manage to hook up with the rest of the
New Power NY crew when I went to the concert.
So, AS OF TODAY, when the brotha goes on tour next year (supposedly) and
comes to NYC, I'M HOOKIN UP WITH YOU ALL BEFORE AND AFTER I GO! I
promise.... :)
