Hey Purple Party People,
I thought this radio special might be of interest to all of you. On Sunday,
August 3, from Noon to 1 PM, I?ll be filling in for some of my fellow WBAI
producers (the Beyond The Pale crew) and I?ll be doing a special on Prince
and his rare B-Sides. I?ll play, in chronological order of release, most of
his B-sides (the ones that I think are top notch and that can be played on
radio these days) and I?ll give out some background information on each one
that I play.
If you?d like to talk to me off air while the show is on, I can reached at
212-209-2900. If you?re not near a radio at that time, the show will be also
streamed at www.wbai.org. If you miss the show - or want to hear it again -
the show should be available on wbai?s archives for 90 days. Just go to
wbai.org and - on the right side of the page - follow the link to the
archives. The show will be listed as "Beyond The Pale" for Sunday, August 3,
2008 12:00 PM.
