Hello, all.
We are to collect post school outcome data on students who exited school in the spring of '06 beginning in April '07 and continuing through September, '07. How are states addressing the fact that outcomes for students interviewed at the beginning of that 6 month period may look very different from outcomes of students interviewed near the end of the 6 month window? For example, a potential respondent might well be enrolled in college in September, but not in April, or may have been enrolled in April but have dropped out by mid-Summer. Are any states voluntarily tightening the interview window? Thanks in advance! Beth M.
