[ns] Encapsulating a custom header within IP

Hi,

I have created a custom header for MANETs which is a combination of IP and TCP 
headers of the TCP/IP stack. I want this customer header to be encapsulated 
within the IP header so that I don't have to worry about how it will be routed 
by ns-2. 

1. How can I encapsulate this packet within the IP packet?
2. In order to generate a packet with this customer header and data, do I have 
to write a new agent? 

How should I go about doing this?

Any suggestions are welcome.
