As far as I know, the same PHY and MAC implementation can be used since only
some parameters change from one to another. Another important thing that
should be changed is the Packet Error Rate curve, but ns2 does not make use
of them....
The list of parameters can be sumarized as (look the ns manual for default
values):

Phy/WirelessPhy set CPThresh_

Phy/WirelessPhy set CSThresh_

Phy/WirelessPhy set RXThresh_

Phy/WirelessPhy set Rb_

Phy/WirelessPhy set Pt_

Phy/WirelessPhy set freq_

Phy/WirelessPhy set L_

Mac/802_11 set SlotTime_

Mac/802_11 set SIFS_

Mac/802_11 set PreambleLength_

Mac/802_11 set PLCPHeaderLength_

Mac/802_11 set PLCPDataRate_

Mac/802_11 set dataRate_

Mac/802_11 set basicRate_

Mac/802_11 set RTSThreshold_

Mac/802_11 set ShortRetryLimit_

Mac/802_11 set LongRetryLimit_

Mac/802_11 set CWMin

Mac/802_11 set CWMax
