Yeah, make always take a long time to compile if you clean all the object files
( with 'make clean').
I didnot run the validate thing. Simply ran leach_test command in
ns-2.29/ns-2.27 folder.

Hii..
Thanx for your reply. What was your output when u gave the ./test
command??
And also did it take u a lot of time to execute those 2 commands
a) nohup make 2>error.log make.log &....
b) nohup ./validate-fill
also how did u exactly simulate the leach protocol........Which TCL
files did u run??

Hi Ankit,
I just followed the same instructions, and it just worked for me easily. I
am working on Cygwin though.

Hii Shafiq,
I am Ankit Singhal. I am an undergraduate student from the
Indian Institute of Technology.
Currently i am in University of Nebraska at Omaha for an
internship.
I have the same pdf file of ns2leach which u talked
about.....
I tried to follow the step step procedures as elucidated
in the pdf.........but at the end while doing the "make " thing......
it does not take as much time as it says it should and
secondly it does not run the ./test command properly.....it shows
ns exiting.......
i have tried insralling in CYGWIN windows environment as
well as FEDORA CORE LINUX.........and have been unavailable.
I am trying to implement a variation of the TEEN protocol
and hence getting the leach extensions installed in the
ns simulator is of utmost importance........
Were you able to get the leach extensions done without any
hassles??
Could you suggest any other procedure or any
advice.........
I would be very grateful for your help
