Just for the sake of completeness, I did installa ns2 successfull though after seesaw, i.e. hat to try out a lot of gcc, bash versions and combinations of them. Finally, gcc-2.95 and GNU bash, version 3.00.16(1)-release (i386-pc-linux-gnu) from Hoary worked for me. Only nam is not installed but I can live with that. cheers, -- Luqman
