[ns] how to change node configuration during run time

Hi all,
  I am working with ns-2.28.
In my project i want to want to change the node configuration parameters of 
some of the mobile nodes during run time. for example, suppose i want to change 
'ifqlen' during run time.
How can i do that?
Pl help.
