Dear ns users,
I am new to ns2, I have installed ns-2 2.31 under windows xp SP 2 (using
cygwin), during the installation the follwing was appeared on the screen while
building tcl, tk, and ns-2.31:
'No explicit static compilation flag: setting V-STATIC to "" '
...
'explicitly disabling static compilation'
So, I have no static complation, I have faced the problem that when I edit
the source code of ns-2 then run 'configure' and 'make' the upadates are
recognized (no compilation exist, and still use the old version of th exe file)
How can I enable static comilation and solve this problem?
