Hi,

it happened to me to use nam to visualize nodes movement,
and I 
had no problems in doing that. These are the settings
I used:

set file
(nam) [open "out.nam" w]
$ns_ namtrace-all $file(nam)
$ns_ namtrace-all-
wireless $file(nam) $opt(x) $opt(y)
$ns_ nam-end-wireless $opt(stop)
