hi everyone I need to simulate for 802.11 network with nodes in random topology and differnt nodes with differnt transmit powers basically i need differnt transmisison ranges.Please tell me how to ocnfigure that topology. I have doubt whether on transmit power (pt_) and tXpower_.Among those two which one will consume battery power and which one is used to adjust the transmission range.
In wireless card specifications cureent ratings(450mA,350mA,10mA ) for transmit,recive,sleep mode is given.But how to set the power levels in tcl.
