Gaddam, this is the FIRST BASIC step when you learning NS-2. You can find lots of information about this, here:
- asking google; - reading NS-2 manual; - tutorials in the NS-2 wiki; - on the book "Introduction to Network Simulator NS-2". But we know how difficult are the first steps! So, this tutorial can help with scripts (in OTcl) or how to code (in C++) to send and receive packets in NS-2: http://masimum.inf.um.es/nsrt-howto/pdf/nsrt-howto.pdf That tutorial is for WIRELESS networks.
