Hi everybody, I have the following problem: I am implementing the code for a
wireless cellular network under ns-2, and I need to simulate a variable capacity radio channel. Basically I need to simulate a link adaptation algorithm, thus the channel capacity will vary with time. Has anybody already developed something like this? Any idea how to do it? I was thinking of splitting each IP packet into many little fragments, and vary the number of fragments sent on each time interval. Alternatively, I could use many different links with different capacities and switch among them. What do you think? Any suggestions? Thank you very much in advance!
