Hi all, I have some troubles in setting the transmission range in WirelessPhyExt (ns-2.34). I tested the examples with IEEE 802.11a and 802.11p and found (by simulaiton) a transmission range of 163m and 202m respectively.
Changing the value of Pt_ does change the transmission range, but not in a "predictable" way. I use TwoRayGround model btw. Does anybody know how to calculate transmission range in WirelessPhyExt? Thanks Alexander Adrowitzer
