To simulate VANET with ns2, you should load the IEEE80211p.tcl file joined with this reply. http://old.nabble.com/file/p27802588/IEEE802-11p.tcl IEEE802-11p.tcl You could use PHY and MAC extension (WirelessPhyExt, 802_11Ext) instead of default. There is no implementation of full DSRC for ns2 yet.
