Hi I have installed ns2.34 with centos 4.8 but when i try to run the examples
tcl scripts (http://nile.wpi.edu/NS/) in my shell konsole I get

 ns: Command not found.

($ ns color 1 blue

ns: Command not found.)

or when I enter a variable such as set a 43 (when set a 43 set:

Variable name must begin with a letter)

>From what I read in the problem fixing area I need to add ns' directory to the
>environment variable Path
I don't know how to add ns' directory to the environment variable PATH as I am
a new user of Linux.

Could you give me step by step instructions.

Is there a problem with the installation, I have downloaded the
(example tcl script ex-tcl.tcl on my desktop ) ex-tcl.tcl do I need to
download the script ex-tcl.tcl in a specific place (if yes where?)

Thanks a lot
