Based on my knowledge, there is no ns-2 patch for 802.11 based WMNs, I have worked in this area, what I have found is a module to support 802.16 WMNs (see the following http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php/Contributed_Code). For me I have exploited wired-cum-wireless in ns-2 to build infrastruture WMN. However, routing is performed on layer 3 not layer 2 as specified in WMNs standard 802.11s.
I wonder whether anybody have im[plemented IEEE 802.1s WMNs under ns-2.
