Hi Everyone, I ma doing simulation on NS-2 and have a little issue with TCP. The topology is as follows: Two nodes and one intruder. Each node has transmission range of 250m. The link bandwidth is 2Mbps with 10ms delay. The two nodes are communicatingvia Intruder node.
The experiment that i am conducting is to find the optimal pkt transmission rate. I want to control data pkt transmission rate as 1pkt/sec, 2pkt/sec like that. I am using following command before creating TCP agent to control pkt flow rate and pkt size: Agent/TCP set packetSize_ 512 Agent/TCP set window_ 1 However, when i run simulation, TCP agent is sending more then 1 data pkt per sec. Is there anything that i am missing here ?If yes, can anyone help me about how to control no. of pkt flow/sec in TCP ? Regards, Bipul
