Hi all,
I am working on contention based protocol. For that I want to make
the channel busy.
The scenario is as follows:
There are a number of stations, and a shared medium. One station
transmits a signal on channel and others will sense the presence of that
signal on channel and will defer their access to medium. I want to do this
at the 802.11MAC layer.
So, can anybody tell me how a station can make a channel busy at the MAC
layer? I have tried to generate some points that can give a sine wave when
plotted, but it doesn't seem working.
Please tell me...
Any idea, any suggesstion..
