Hiey can anyone tell me what's the best way to extract trace file information? awk or perl ? and how can i extract information for manet routing protocol like pdf,average end to end delay ,latency ,throughput via both perl and awk scripts.Do they produce the same results ,of course they shoud ,but what is better in anyway ,just let me know .
