[ns] rreq broadcast and rrep unicast

Can anybody tell me when node broadcasts the RREQ packet to find the route to 
the particular destination ,say there are 100 nodes in a network ,so If this 
broadcasts is done by one node will this broadcast reach every other node of 
the network,?will they all process it ?or only nodes neighbour to the source 
node receive the broadcast ?I
