Hi John and George, Thanks for the advice. I tried running the bat file, even rebooting and running it a number of times, but each time I get the same message. I'm trying to install v7 by the way, so not the latest version (I hope to upgrade soon).
I was wondering if this is because I uninstalled Desktop 3 a couple of days ago, and then installed Desktop 4 (which is very good - thanks for making it a free upgrade)? Many thanks, Andrew. --- In [email protected], "John Hill" <john.h...@...> wrote: > > Hi Andrew > > In TechNote01 http://www.nsbasic.com/ce/info/technotes/TN01.htm > Item 1 on this page covers this errro and informa you of the bat file to run. > This has worked for me most times. > > Regards > John > > > --- In [email protected], "Andrew" <andrewmarkthomas@> wrote: > > > > Hi, > > > > I installed NSB CE on a new laptop a couple of weeks ago, but apart from > > initially running it to enter the registration code I haven't done anything > > since.
