Had a bit of a problem playing it (on the PC I hasten to add) as it kept
saying not enough/too may notes but it doesn't ring a bell even as a hymn
although there are plenty of Celtic-style hymns from the Iona community(John
Bell & Graham Maule) around with just as good a pedigree (ie nicking old
tunes and writing new words to them) - although that wasn't started until
1938. Our Baptist Hymnal is full of 'em - handy too as I can play quite a
few of them although not necessarily in the key they are written in!
Silly bit now.
I know that The Dark Island was written as a theme to a radio program but
didn't know there were any words to it. Any idea where I can find them?
(Yes, I just make a fumble on those low notes too!).
