Well Ed - there you have it, a simple flame war about a critique, unusual as it is (lol) got more mail in 2 days than there has been for months. It did, however encourage lurkers to come on line -- so it served a useful purpose as well -- one the other hand why did said lurker not ask online for assistance, a local piper to talk to or where to go and look for various opinions about pipes and piping and of course pipers and pipe makers. All concerned are just waiting to assist. To the rest of us on this list -- are there no good threads just waiting to be started ? have we come to the bottom of the keg ? -- hope not The Johns' have put there points, valid and personal -- the rest mostly flamed the points or supported them-- It is of course personal choice backed up by personal opinions. So please bear that in mind and let's not play Denmark cartooning on this list --- the lady in question -- in whatever style she plays -- puts the NSP in the public eye, hopefully sparking interest enough in the rest of the world to keep the makers in business, and getting the next generations looking for tutors, getting people to talk about playing styles, and last but not least -- it's coffee time !!
Piping is great, piping up even better --(or was it tuther waay ) Dave Singleton Edward Bradburn wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > I'm a non-NSP player who is considering buying NSPs and have been > lurking on the list for a while now to learn about them.
