Hello Paul and list members, I was the one who ran the workshop on straw bagpipes, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed by the way. I had learnt how to make these wonderful little instruments at Halsway Manor one year when Francis gave a workshop there. From the discussion around the table at that workshop, I received the definite impression the Francis would not mind other people spreading the word on his straw bagpipes. Please rest assured that full credit and acknowledgement was given to Francis Wood at the workshop that I ran.
One of these years, perhaps Francis will come to the Pipers' Gathering and give the workshop himself.
