I ended up with 6 copies in assorted keys and arrangements, together with a number of suggestions. Thank to all those helpful listers out there.
My position (for the record) is "I may not agree with what you play, but I will defend, (tho' maybe not) to the death, your right to play it." Hence my enquiry. I also have personal opinions...... And also in the interest of factual correctness, I have knowingly played it once only - in the key of C on a F chanter, so that it came out in Bb to go with GHB and a brass band. Quite fun, working that out on the hoof in the middle of a party. Subject closed - let's discuss something sensible!
