Before this discussion goes any further, can I just emphasise that my responses were solely to the suggestion that playing a tone up on the standard chanter is a viable alternative to buying a G chanter. I took it that Klaus wants to play the usual NSP stuff (and perhaps other kinds of music) with other musicians at concert pitch, not just slow or simple tunes.
