REGISTRATION & LODGING Early Bird registration for the 2007 Pipers' Gathering ends on June 1st! Your application must be postmarked (or submitted online) no later than June 1st to receive the reduced Early Bird registration rate. If you haven't already done so, we encourage you to book your room now at the Killington Grand Hotel. Remember to mention The Pipers' Gathering to ensure you receive our special group rates. Registration and lodging information and forms are available on our website at <http://www.pipersgathering.org> UILLEANN PIPES AUCTION We're excited to announce that this year we will be auctioning a brand new C-pitch 1/2 set of Uilleann pipes, built and donated by BC Childress to help support the Pipers' Gathering. The pipes are of mopane wood with brass metalwork, imitation ivory mounts, five chanter keys, and a Mac Harg bag. These pipes are valued at nearly $3,100. The pipes will be offered for sale through a silent auction that will begin on Saturday morning (August 11th) and end just before the concert on Sunday evening (August 12th). You must attend the Pipers' Gathering to bid on these pipes. The winning bidder must be prepared to pay in cash or by certified check before he or she can receive the pipes. So make sure you have the money in the right account before leaving home! Please note that there will be a reserve price set for these pipes. The Board of Directors is grateful to Bruce Childress, a long-time supporter of the Pipers' Gathering, for his generous donation. REFER A FRIEND, GET BUCKS BACK! Do you have a piping friend who's never been to The Pipers' Gathering? Or perhaps one who hasn't been to the Gathering since the North Hero days? Refer them to the Pipers' Gathering, and receive $10 back on your registration fee when they register as a Piper.
